General Surgery
We focus on making every anesthetic procedure as safe as possible by evaluating our patients are good candidates for anesthesia with recent comprehensive exams and bloodwork. We provide excellence in surgery by limiting the number of surgeries performed daily so we can give each pet detailed care and personal attention.
A multi-modal approach for pain management is used, including a combination of local anesthesia blocks, pharmaceuticals, and pheromone therapies.
Examples of general surgery: spay (ovariohysterectomy), neuter (castration), gastropexy (tack stomach to prevent GDV), lump and mass removal, laceration/wound repair, exploratory surgery (gastrointestinal foreign bodies), cystotomy (removal of bladder stones), skin biopsy, amputation
